A good time! Arrived late to SC and wanted a good bite to eat quick and non corporate. My boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised with this "local" bar. There were several tv's with sporting events, trivia etc. They allow smoking, but we didn't leave smelling like it. Food was really good. A nice variety. We ordered Sandwiches made on pretzel rolls...de-licious. Will be returning this week! Ps- decent beers on tap, magic hat #9, guiness, etc.

Best wings and sliders I've ever had! Great selection of craft beers; owner stopped by our table to chat with us, very passionate about his business. We were visting the area with a couple of friends. You can't go wrong here!

Krispy Kreme burger with bacon and all the fixings. A must try, you will not regret it.

I would rank it as no stars if I could. We opened the door and immediately turned around and walked away. The smoke smell was so awful, we couldn't even imagine eating there. Bad, Bad, Bad!!

Great local watering hole. Have spent a few nights belting out Kareoke!!! Local fair, local haunt, and decent bar food. Nothing fancy and that's okay with me. I have yet to perform there, still reluctant because I, getting old, but what the heck right.

Great food and great prices. One person working bar and dining area but she served us immediately and kept my drink filled. Some of the best service I've ever had and we were a party of nine!

Food was delicious. Buffalo chicken quesadilla literally melts in your mouth. Service was great. Definitely a local bar, but the server made us feel welcome!

My favorite neighborhood bar! Owners are great. You can tell they care about their customers--regulars and visitors to the area. Come by for a cold beer and great food (really good new menu).

Great little neighborhood bar with an awesome and friendly staff. 1/2 price Happy Hour is quite the deal with some of the best Buffalo wings I've eaten in a long time! Draft beers could be a few degrees colder, but other than that, good times to be had.

We've passed Island Bar & Grill many times, but never stopped in until this weekend. This is clearly a local neighborhood bar during the day, and both the food and beverage menu is extensive. My husband and I dropped in more out of curiosity than anything else, since we always see people coming in and out of it. (It's clearly popular.) The interior of the bar is dark, and has an 80's feel to it. More surprising, is the smoke that hits you in the face when you walk in the door. It is possibly one of the few places left that allow smoking inside, and most of the patrons seem delighted to take advantage of the opportunity. As an ex-smoker, the smell alone was enough to send me back out the door, but we were on a mission to 'check it out', so we ventured in, and ordered a beer and an appetizer - fried shrimp. Apparently, they have 1/2 price food (entire menu) between 4:00 - 6:00 during the work week, along with a variety of drink specials. We had the shrimp, a blue moon draft, and a long island iced tea for a whopping...$9.00! And, to my great surprise, the shrimp were quite good. Not too heavily breaded, and fried to a crispy golden color. We were pleasantly surprised by the food, and appreciated the drink specials, but the atmosphere (and more specifically, the smoke) still puts a huge damper on the experience. As this is a neighborhood restaurant/bar, we'll probably be back at some point, but it doesn't rate as a 'regular' stop.

Great Sports Bar & Live Music Venue ! Staff is friendly, food & drinks are delicious and prices are very reasonable. Live music is played often by both local & out of state bands. Always have a great time at either Island Bar & Grill location ! There are 2 one in Surfside & one in Pawleys Island. Overall great place to go !

great little locals neighborhood bar during the day, with a great bar menu, lots to choose from and all good. However late nite tuns into a very young bar crowd with loud music (all Types)
